Fenerbahce forward Robin van Persie has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Crystal Palace.
Despite making just 17 starts in Turkey's top flight and the Europa League last season, Van Persie still managed to score 10 goals and it has resulted in him being linked with a transfer during the summer window.
It had been reported that he was close to earning a return to Feyenoord but according to The Mirror, Palace have registered an interest in handing the 33-year-old another spell in the Premier League.
New Eagles boss Frank de Boer has previously indicated that he will not rush into any signings, but it has been suggested that he is already looking to boost his forward line.
It has been claimed that Van Persie is keen on a return to English football, where he has previously enjoyed successful periods with both Arsenal and Manchester United.
Van Persie has scored a total of 144 goals in 280 appearances in the Premier League.
