Derby County boss Frank Lampard has suggested that he will not renew his interest in Burnley forward Nahki Wells.
The Rams have allowed Matej Vydra to sign for the Premier League side, and that resulted in discussions regarding a potential loan deal for Wells.
However, while not ruling out a future approach, Lampard has indicated that he is currently pleased with the attacking options at his disposal.
At a press conference, Lampard told reporters: "It was part of the conversation at an early stage with Vydra going to Burnley, and it didn't come through in the end.
"I am actually very pleased with our attacking options as it stands, so it was one of those that got some headlines but didn't come through. I don't want to rule anything out but at the moment it is not my main concern."
Wells currently finds himself behind Chris Wood, Sam Vokes and Vydra at Turf Moor.
