Christian Eriksen desperate for home win over Everton

Christian Eriksen is desperate for three points at White Hart Lane this Sunday when they come up against Everton.

Tottenham Hotspur playmaker Christian Eriksen has said that he is aiming for a home win over Everton this Sunday.

Eriksen and his teammates will be looking to notch their third victory at White Hart Lane this season, after losing to Liverpool, Newcastle United and most recently Stoke City at home.

A man-of-the-match performance from the Dane was enough to see Spurs continue their hot form away from home with a victory over Hull City last Sunday.

"Everyone wants to win at home," the 22-year-old told the club's official website.

"We know if we want to go higher in the Premier League we have to win our home games. It's a big game for us and we want to get back on track at home.

"Everton finished really well last season and they've been fighting back this season. We are as well. It's close in the table. One or two wins and you are right up there where you want to be. We've won at Hull and now we'll look to get a couple more."

Spurs sit a place behind the Toffees in 10th, with both teams level on 17 points.
