David Moyes's injury problems are starting to clear, after Seamus Coleman and Ross Barkley made goalscoring returns in Everton's 6-3 reserves win over Newcastle United.
Coleman, who suffered a thigh injury in the Toffees' 2-0 win over Tamworth five weeks ago, completed 55 minutes and opened the scoring after five minutes from close range.
Teenager Ross Barkley, who has not played a first-team game since November because of a knee problem, played the whole game and scored with an 18-yard chip.
With the returning pair back in contention, Phil Jagielka (knee), Leon Osman (knee) and Jack Rodwell (hamstring) are the only senior players that Moyes does not have available.
Everton are unbeaten in six games.
