Everton boss Sam Allardyce has further trimmed his squad by sending young forward Ademola Lookman on loan to RB Leipzig for the remainder of the season.
The Toffees have attempted to offload players on deadline day to balance the books, having also sent Sandro Ramirez to Sevilla on a short-term deal and attempted to do the same with Davy Klaassen.
Allardyce suggested earlier this week that Lookman was not one of those he wanted to relinquish, but in a surprise move Leipzig have pounced to secure his services for the next four months.
Leipzig reportedly do not have the option to purchase the England Under-21s international at the end of the campaign.
Lookman, used 13 times in all competitions this season, is eligible to make his debut against Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday.
