Joachim Low: 'We will learn'

Germany manager Joachim Low believes that his young players will learn from the disappointment of their 2-1 semi-final defeat to Italy and keep developing.

Germany manager Joachim Low has said that his young players will learn from the disappointment of their 2-1 semi-final defeat to Italy and keep developing.

Germany's average age in last night's game was just 24.52 years old, and Low believes that his squad will bounce back from the experience after two good years for the national team.

Low said: "We've had two great years. The team has really developed well. We won 15 games in a row but lost today against an incredibly strong Italian side, with a strong axis and two great strikers.

"There's no reason to doubt ourselves. Our team was the youngest team here. The team has great quality. It will continue to develop and learn."

Low and his side will now focus their attentions on the World Cup 2014 qualifying campaign, which gets underway on September 7.
