Hull City manager Steve Bruce expects "tough" Premier League season

Hull City manager Steve Bruce believes that his side are in for a "tough" Premier League season as they get their campaign underway against Chelsea this weekend.

Hull City manager Steve Bruce believes that his side face a "tough" campaign back in the top flight of English football.

The former Championship side, who have been rebranded Hull City Tigers, will begin their season with a clash against Chelsea on Sunday.

"To say it is going to be tough is a bit of an understatement, but that's what we are in the Premier League for," Bruce told talkSPORT. "To take on the mighty Chelsea, with Jose coming back, should be a fantastic occasion."

Hull were promoted to the top flight by finishing second behind champions Cardiff City last season.
