Inter Milan captain Javier Zanetti has declared that he loves the club unconditionally ahead of his 600th appearance for the Nerazzurri.
Zanetti will reach the milestone if he plays against Bologna this evening in a game that also coincides with the club's 105th anniversary.
The Argentine veteran believes that it is important for his side to make sure they mark the occasion with a performance to remember.
He told the club's official website: "I am proud to be part of this great Inter family. There is so much history in 105 years and I think that, regardless of any moment we are going through, you have to love Inter unconditionally. That's the way I see it and how I feel.
"It has to be said, 600 is a lot. I again have to thank Inter for this, as to be captain after so many years is a wonderful responsibility and I wear this armband with great pride.
"I hope we can celebrate both my 600th game and Inter's anniversary with a victory and a great performance, putting the defeat in London behind us."
The 39-year-old skippered the Inter side that lost 3-0 to Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday, leaving Andrea Stramaccioni's men with a mountain to climb in the Europa League.
