Sunday's Serie A predictions including Inter Milan vs. Napoli

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Sunday's Serie A fixtures, including Inter Milan vs. Napoli.

Sassuolo vs. Cagliari (Sunday, 11.30am)

Basement club Cagliari will be looking to move off the foot of the Serie A table with a victory when they travel to the Stadio Citta del Tricolore to face Sassuolo on Sunday.

The Neroverdi have alternated between defeat and victory in their last five home matches, while the visitors are yet to win on the road this season.

We say: Sassuolo 2-1 Cagliari

As six of the last seven meetings between these two sides have ended as a draw, another closely-fought contest is expected at the Stadio Citta del Tricolore.

Both Sassuolo and Cagliari will be desperate to return to winning ways, but we think that the hosts may have enough to edge out their opponents on Sunday.

Bologna vs. Venezia (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Following a strong start to the Serie A season, Bologna resume their campaign on Sunday with a visit from Venezia, who enjoyed a ground-breaking win before the intervention of international football.

The teams meet at Stadio Renato Dall'Ara, with the hosts just a point off a European place and their visitors gradually growing into life among the Italian elite.

We say: Bologna 2-1 Venezia

Just one away win for Venezia and the same number of home defeats suffered by Bologna points towards a probable victory for the latter when they meet in Emilia-Romagna.

Salernitana vs. Sampdoria (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Languishing in the Serie A drop zone ahead of their return to action, Sampdoria journey south to meet Salernitana on Sunday afternoon.

Separated only by two points and one place from their promoted hosts, Samp are struggling to adapt to the methods of Roberto D'Aversa and have now lost four of their last five games - including three on the spin before the break.

We say: Salernitana 2-2 Sampdoria

Neither side is secure enough defensively to keep the other out for 90 minutes, as Sampdoria have conceded the most goals in the first half of games during the current Serie A campaign, while Salernitana have let in the joint-most during the second.

Inter Milan vs. Napoli (Sunday, 5.00pm)

Reigning champions Inter Milan attempt to close the gap to leaders Napoli on Sunday evening, when the two Serie A superpowers convene at San Siro.

While the third-placed Nerazzurri were held to a 1-1 draw in the Milan Derby last time out, their visitors extended an unbeaten start by sharing the same scoreline with in-form Verona.

We say: Inter Milan 1-1 Napoli

Inter are seldom beaten on home soil, so will not succumb easily to the Napoli juggernaut which has powered through Serie A at the start of this season.

Genoa vs. Roma (Sunday, 7.45pm)

Genoa embark on a new era under an ambitious new manager, as they welcome troubled Roma to Stadio Luigi Ferraris on Sunday evening.

As Andriy Shevchenko makes his Serie A debut as the Grifone's head coach, the goalscoring legend comes up against one of football's most successful men, who has started to see the tide turn against him in the capital.

We say: Genoa 0-1 Roma

Both low on confidence, this could be a scrappy and nervy affair in the Ligurian capital, as the two sides battle it out for an increasingly rare three points.
