Italy coach Antonio Conte has given a first international call-up to Nicola Sansone and Daniel Caligiuri for the Azzurri's Euro 2016 qualifier with Croatia next month.
Sansone's form for Sassuolo, including four goals and five assists, sees him join club teammate Simone Zaza in the squad.
Caligiuri, who won the DFB-Pokal trophy with Wolfsburg on Saturday, is German-born but is eligible to play for Italy through his father and also joins up with Conte's squad on Monday.
With Juventus preparing for their Champions League final against Barcelona next Saturday, none of the Bianconeri's Italian players will take part training this week.
Italy trail Croatia by two points at the top of Group H.
