Robbie Keane admits that he would "love" for David Beckham to stay at Los Angeles Galaxy.

Los Angeles Galaxy striker Robbie Keane has urged teammate David Beckham to remain with the Major League Soccer club despite running out his contract.

The 36-year-old has been linked with a number of clubs over the past few months, with French side Paris Saint-Germain taking a reported keen interest in the ex-England captain.

"Well obviously we want him to stay," said Keane. "From a selfish person's point of view I'd love him to stay.

"He's been great to me and we get on very, very well. You always want your best players in the team to stay so hopefully he'll stay."

The American side defeated Houston Dynamo 1-0 to clinch the MLS Cup last night.
