Half-Time Report: AC Milan leading Lazio at break

An Abdoulay Konko own goal hands AC Milan a 1-0 lead at the halfway stage of their match with Lazio this evening.

AC Milan have taken a 1-0 lead into the halfway stage of their Serie A encounter with Lazio this evening courtesy of a late own goal from Abdoulay Konko.

The first clear chance of the match fell the way of the hosts after 19 minutes as Diego Novaretti rose highest inside the area to nod a free kick over the crossbar.

Milan struggled to create a good opening of their own, with Keisuke Honda going closest in the opening 43 minutes when he blasted a 30-yard effort high over the bar.

However, the visitors did break the deadlock right on the stroke of half time, and the goal came in fortuitous circumstances as Konko turned the ball into his own net following good work from Kaka.
