West Ham United manager David Moyes has expressed his admiration for the job Marcelo Bielsa has done at Leeds United ahead of their Premier League encounter at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon.
Both sides failed to win their last top-flight match, with the Hammers suffering a late defeat at home to Manchester United, while the Whites were forced to share the spoils in a 1-1 draw against Newcastle United.
Speaking to the press ahead of West Ham's clash with Leeds, Moyes has been impressed with Bielsa's attacking philosophy and is hoping his Hammers side can implement a similar style against them this weekend.
"I am a big admirer of Marcelo Bielsa because of his record and everyone enjoys watching Leeds United. It is a really tough game (when playing against Leeds), the energy they put into their game it is going to be a test for anyone who plays them," Moyes said on Friday.
"I think we're just going to try and do what West Ham have been doing recently: be positive in our play and score goals, but also be strong defensively. I think if you look at Leeds' play, you'd consider them a really positive team, so we have to think like that as well.
"We'll try and attack them and score when we can, but we'll have another tough job trying to defend against them."
The Hammers will be looking to claim their third successive victory against Leeds this weekend, after doing the double over them last season, winning 2-1 away from home in December before securing a 2-0 victory at the London Stadium in March.
