Leeds United are reportedly confident of signing Brest defender Romain Perraud, who signed a new contract with the French club in January.
The 23-year-old has contributed three goals and seven assists from left-back for Brest, who only avoided relegation from Ligue 1 by one point this season.
It is believed that the Yorkshire club have made signing a left-back a top priority this summer, as Ezgjan Alioski's future at Elland Road is in doubt.
According to Football Insider, Leeds are confident of completing the deal with Perraud after holding encouraging talks with the parties involved.
The Frenchman's current contract at the Stade Francis-Le-Ble runs until 2025, after the new deal he signed with the club in January extended his contract by two years.
Stade Brest signed Perraud from Paris FC in 2019, and he has gone on to make 61 appearances for the club, with his first goal coming in this campaign.
