Leicester City injury, suspension list ahead of their first game back

Sports Mole rounds up Leicester City's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their first match back after lockdown, expected to be a visit to Watford.

Leicester City are expected to resume their bid to qualify for next season's Champions League with an away fixture at Watford on June 20.

Although the Foxes went into the enforced break having recorded just one win from five games, they hold an eight-point advantage over fifth-placed Manchester United.

The enforced break has provided Brendan Rodgers and his squad with the opportunity to recharge their batteries, but the Northern Irishman still has fitness concerns heading into their first outing at Vicarage Road.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Leicester's injury and suspension news ahead of the contest later this month.

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

In the final match before the suspension, Ricardo Pereira sustained a serious knee injury, which led to Leicester announcing that he would miss the rest of the season. Despite having had extra time to recover, Rodgers revealed earlier this week that the right-back is expected to remain sidelined until at least August.
