A victory for Leicester City against Aston Villa will see them create some club history on Sunday evening.

Leicester City are looking to make their best-ever start to a top-flight season with victory over Midlands rivals Aston Villa in Sunday's Premier League clash.

The Foxes suffered a shock 3-0 home loss to West Ham United in their last game before the international break, following on from the back of three successive wins to begin 2020-21.

Never before have City won four of their opening five games in the top tier of English football, something that they can achieve with three points against surprise package Villa.

Indeed, the Villans have some history of their own in their sights, as they can begin a season with four successive wins at any level for the first time since 1930.

Dean Smith's men stunned Liverpool with a 7-2 victory a fortnight ago and have also defeated Sheffield United and Fulham without conceding.

However, Villa are winless in their last five league meetings with Leicester, losing four of those in a run stretching back to December 2014.
