Leicester City captain Wes Morgan "taking each game at a time"

Leicester City captain Wes Morgan says that the team are taking each game at a time after recording a goalless draw against Manchester City.

Leicester City captain Wes Morgan has insisted that the team need to take "each game at a time" after they kept themselves in contention for the Premier League title by holding Manchester City to a goalless draw.

The Foxes played out the stalemate at the King Power Stadium on Monday night.

Claudio Ranieri's side are now second in the table heading into the New Year, three points adrift of leaders Arsenal.

"We lost [against Liverpool] at the weekend and it's important to come back with some type of result," Morgan told BT Sport. "We are a little disappointed not to score, but it's a point, a clean sheet and we'll move on to the next game.

"We're just going along, seeing how far we can get, taking each game at a time. It's been a remarkable year and a testimony to everyone involved. We're at a point where we're expecting high standards of ourselves."

Leicester have only lost twice in the league this season.
