Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson hails arrival of Andrej Kramaric

Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson hails the "important" arrival of Croatian striker Andrej Kramaric.

Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson believes that Andrej Kramaric's decision to join the Foxes "speaks volumes".

Reports have claimed that the Croatia striker rejected Chelsea in favour of a switch to the King Power Stadium.

Today, the 23-year-old, who has scored 28 goals in 31 appearances for HNK Rijeka, sealed a move to Leicester on a deal which is expected to run until June 2018.

"He has represented Croatia at every level and speaks volumes of the lad that he is prepared to come to us in the situation we are in at the moment," Pearson told reporters. "It is really important for us to strengthen."

Reports have claimed that Leicester paid in the region of £10m for the player.
