Leicester City are reportedly keen to open up contract negotiations with Danny Drinkwater.
The midfielder has been a key figure in Leicester's surprise assault on the Premier League title this season and his form was recently rewarded by a call-up to the senior England squad for the first time.
Now, The Mirror claims that the Foxes want to tie the 26-year-old down to fresh terms.
The former Manchester United trainee's current deal expires in 2018, with a two-year extension thought to be on offer.
The report adds that Drinkwater will also be given a pay rise, which is likely to see him pocket around £80,000 a week.
