Leicester City have reportedly opened contract negotiations with defender Ben Chilwell.
The left-back has spent much of his Leicester career as deputy to Christian Fuchs, but the 21-year-old has now established himself on both the domestic and international scene.
Chilwell has impressed with England in recent weeks - featuring in the 3-2 victory over Spain on Monday night - and according to the Leicester Mercury, that has resulted in the Foxes hierarchy looking to extend the player's current deal.
The academy graduate's existing contract does not expire until 2021, but Leicester are said to want to add at least one more season onto that as well as handing Chilwell a pay-rise.
Chilwell's recent emergence will make him an attractive target for the top clubs in English football, and Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur have both been previously linked with an approach.
