Leicester City are reportedly nearing the £15m signing of Sporting Lisbon midfielder Adrien Silva.
Silva has been given permission to leave the Portugal squad amid suggestions that he is locked in talks with Leicester ahead of a potential move to the King Power Stadium on transfer deadline day.
According to Sky Sports News, Leicester have agreed a £15m deal with Sporting for the transfer of the Portugal international, although the move hinges on whether Danny Drinkwater leaves the former Premier League champions for Chelsea.
Leicester were strongly linked with a £25m move for Silva in last summer's transfer window, but Sporting rejected the interest.
The 28-year-old has scored 38 times in 232 appearances for his Portuguese club over the last eight seasons.
