Leicester City have reportedly identified Celtic defender Kristoffer Ajer as a potential replacement for Harry Maguire.
After weeks of speculation, Maguire is said to be closing in on a switch to Manchester United, who are prepared to pay £80m for the England international.
Foxes boss Brendan Rodgers must now try to bring in reinforcements before the end of the summer window, and it appears that a familiar face is on his radar.
According to The Mirror, Rodgers is prepared to pay in the region of £15m in order to secure a reunion with Ajer.
The 21-year-old has established himself as arguably Celtic's most prized asset after costing just £500,000 ahead of the 2016-17 campaign.
The Norway international has made 83 appearances for the Glasgow giants, with most of them coming under Rodgers.
Ajer still has three years left on his contract, leaving Celtic in a strong position with just five days left of the window.
