Former Liverpool striker Ian Rush believes that the team's "confidence" will help push them to a victory over Crystal Palace in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Saturday.
Selhurst Park has not been the happiest of venues for the Reds, most notably last season when their Premier League title hopes crumbled following a 3-3 draw with the Eagles.
Earlier this season, Palace were able to secure a 3-1 triumph over Brendan Rodgers's side, but Rush believes that Liverpool's run of form will help them go through.
"With Alan Pardew there, he's going to make them more competitive, but Liverpool should want to play Palace, they should want to go there," Rush told the Liverpool Echo.
"We got beaten there earlier in the season - deservedly, we didn't deserve to beat them and they should have beat us, but hopefully it will change now because we're playing with a lot more confidence."
Liverpool have lost once in their last 14 games in all competitions, while Palace have recorded one loss since Pardew took over at the start of January.
