Liverpool full-back Nathaniel Clyne has insisted that Christian Benteke brings plenty of strengths to the team.
The Belgium international scored his first competitive Liverpool goal to give the Reds a 1-0 win over Bournemouth at Anfield on Monday.
Like Clyne, the 24-year-old joined Liverpool in the summer, but he arrived with a hefty price tag as the Merseyside outfit reportedly paid £32.5m to Aston Villa for his services.
"He's dominant in the air," Clyne told Sky Sports News. "You can see him train and you see how powerful and strong he is. He's a real target man for us. He has a physical presence and he is a good finisher.
"His qualities are his ability to hold up the ball and bringing players into play. It is great for me because I can get involved in the attacks and I can cross it to him to score with his head."
Liverpool won their first two games of the season with a 1-0 scoreline.
