Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish has said that he is happy for any of his players to be selected for this summer's Olympic Games.
Reports yesterday claimed that Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson had written to the FA announcing his intention to blockany call-ups for his over 23 players, apart from veteran Welshman Ryan Giggs.
However, Dalglish and the Merseyside club have taken a different stance to their rivals by revealing that they will allow their players to be called up.
When asked about whether he would allow selection or not, Dalglish said: "Not a problem. If the players want to go that is not a problem for us."
Martin Kelly and Jordan Henderson are in contention to be named in Stuart Pearce's Team GB squad while Luis Suarez could face the pair when representing Uruguay.
