Jose Enrique hopeful Liverpool will sign more players

Jose Enrique is hopeful that Liverpool will sign more players this summer following the arrivals of Rickie Lambert, Adam Lallana and Emre Can.

Liverpool full-back Jose Enrique is hopeful that the Merseyside outfit will continue to bring in new faces before the start of the season.

The Reds have already secured the signatures of Rickie Lambert and Adam Lallana - both of whom arrived from Southampton - as well as German Under-21 international Emre Can from Bayer Leverkusen.

"Lambert and Lallana had been doing really well for Southampton," Enrique told the club's official website. "Emre Can, as well, they say is really good.

"Hopefully with a few more additions, we can compete for good things. We have already improved the squad because we have signed players after we finished second last year.

"The club are bringing good names here as well. Hopefully there'll be more names, but we are really happy with the squad. I'm really looking forward to the season."

Liverpool, who are expected to sell Luis Suarez to Barcelona in the coming days, have been linked with moves for Divock Origi and Lazar Markovic.
