Former Liverpool midfielder Dietmar Hamann has criticised Luis Suarez's conduct following the striker's admission that he wants to leave the club.
The Uruguay international, who is currently serving a 10-match ban for biting Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic, has revealed that the English press has led him to consider a move away from Anfield.
Hamann wrote on Twitter: "Suarez gave great service but missed 20 games, dragged the image of the club through the mud and now blames media for his exit #topguy"
Meanwhile, Liverpool have reiterated that the prolific forward is not for sale.
