Jordan Henderson: 'We need to stay focused'

Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson says that it's important for the players to maintain their concentration after three successive league wins.

Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson has urged his teammates not to lose focus after the club's 100% start to the Premier League season.

The Reds are top of the table after three successive 1-0 wins, including last weekend's victory over Manchester United.

However, Henderson says that it is still important the players remain focused and continue their early season form.

"We've got a lot of momentum after the first three games of the season," he is quoted as saying on Football365.com.

"Beating Manchester United gave us a great boost and it kept the winning mentality and the momentum going.

"But we know that it's going to be difficult in our next few games, starting with Swansea, so we'll have to keep focused and hopefully we can keep putting in the performances."

Liverpool face Swansea City next weekend.
