Blackburn Rovers manager Steve Kean has said that his team must must learn to switch on from the first whistle.
The Scot believes that slow starts to games have cost Rovers dearly this season and fears that they could be relegated if the trend continues.
"We must address the way we are starting games. The mindset isn't to start slow," said Kean.
"We have to spark into life a bit quicker. We can certainly start quick in the second half so why not in the first half?"
Blackburn face Liverpool at Ewood Park tonight.
