Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Eintracht Frankfurt forward Omar Marmoush.
The Reds signed just two players in the most recent transfer window, recruiting attacker Federico Chiesa and agreeing a deal to goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili at the end of the season.
After experiencing an underwhelming summer market, Liverpool's hierarchy will already be drawing up transfer plans for 2025.
The Reds are likely to make an attempt to recruit a midfielder in the new year, but they may also make an effort to strengthen in the final third, with uncertainty surrounding the future of Mohamed Salah.
He has entered the final 12 months of his contract, raising the possibility that he could leave on a free transfer at the end of the season.

Liverpool considering Marmoush move
There is also a possibility that Darwin Nunez may seek a move away if his playing time fails to improve, having made just one Premier League start this season.
If Liverpool were to lose a forward in 2025, they could make an effort to sign one of Salah's international teammates.
According to Sky Deutschland, the Premier League giants are showing an interest in signing Marmoush from Bundesliga side Frankfurt.
The report claims that Marmoush has a number of suitors after previously being linked with Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa in the summer.
Marmoush's admirers would have to strike a deal with Frankfurt due to the fact there is no release clause in his contract which is set to run until 2027.

Who is Liverpool's potential transfer target?
The 25-year-old has spent the majority of his career in Germany, having previously played for Wolfsburg, St Pauli and Stuttgart.
Marmoush has transformed into one of the Bundesliga's top strikers since joining Frankfurt from Wolfsburg in the summer of 2023.
Last season, Marmoush scored 17 goals in 41 competitive appearances, including 12 strikes in the German top flight.
Marmoush, who can play as a centre-forward, number 10 or out wide, has continued to impress in the opening stages of the 2024-25 season.
The Frankfurt attacker has netted nine goals and provided six assists in nine matches, including a brace in Sunday's 3-3 draw against Bayern Munich.
