Preview: Tottenham Hotspur vs. Liverpool

Sports Mole previews the Premier League encounter between Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool at White Hart Lane.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas faces an anxious wait to see whether any of his injured central defenders will be fit for the visit of Liverpool.

Jan Vertonghen has already been ruled out while Vlad Chiriches and Younes Kaboul are doubts, and Villas-Boas also has to decide whether to recall Roberto Soldado to Premier League action after his hat-trick in the Europa League on Thursday.

Spurs have responded well to their 6-0 drubbing by Manchester City to win four of their next five matches.

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers will be without captain Steven Gerrard after the midfielder was ruled out for over a month with a hamstring injury.

However, Rodgers could be able to call on the services of Daniel Agger after his recovery from illness, with Jordan Henderson likely to feature in midfield after an ankle problem.
