Dirk Kuyt's agent has insisted that the Liverpool forward wants to stay at Anfield.
The 31-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from Merseyside at the end of the season following six years at the club.
However, Rob Jansen claims that the former Feyenoord player would only leave if Liverpool deemed him surplus to requirement.
"He would prefer to stay at Liverpool," Jansen told Algemeen Dagblad.
"If that is not possible there is a big possibility that he would decide to choose a new foreign adventure.
"If he did ever return to the Netherlands, then it would 100% be for Feyenoord. I am going to Liverpool in the next 10 days to talk to them about Kuyt."
The Dutch international has scored five goals in all competitions for the Reds this season.
