Bayern Munich 'line up £75m Roberto Firmino bid'

Bayern Munich reportedly line up a £75m offer for Liverpool attacker Roberto Firmino.

Bayern Munich are reportedly preparing to make a £75m bid for Liverpool attacker Roberto Firmino.

The 28-year-old has again been a key player for the Reds during the 2019-20 campaign, scoring 10 goals and contributed 12 assists in 36 appearances in all competitions.

The Brazil international has a contract at Anfield until the summer of 2023, meanwhile, having only signed an extension in 2018.

According to The Sun, though, Bayern are determined to bring the South American to the Allianz Arena and will submit a bid once the summer transfer window opens for business.

The report claims that the Bundesliga champions could offer as much as £75m for the forward, who turned out for Hoffenheim in Germany before moving to England in 2015.

Liverpool, meanwhile, are allegedly planning to make a move for RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
