Christian Benteke has insisted that he is "really happy" at Liverpool despite struggling for first-team action this season.
The Belgium international, who joined the Reds from Aston Villa last summer for a reported £32m fee, has scored eight goals in 35 appearances.
There have been rumours that Benteke might leave Anfield at the end of the season as he has dropped behind Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi as third-choice striker, but the player himself has suggested that he will stay put.
"Obviously it has not been the best season for me here," Benteke said in Liverpool's matchday programme. "I haven't played like I want to and that is frustrating but this is part of football.
"Even though things have not been as I wanted I'm really happy here. Playing for this club is exciting, just like what I thought it would be. Now I want to finish this season well."
West Ham United and Atletico Madrid have been linked with moves for Benteke.
