New Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has reportedly made Swansea City attacker Andre Ayew one of his main January transfer targets.
It is believed that Klopp tried to sign the Ghanaian international twice during his stint in charge of Borussia Dortmund, but he was ultimately unable to land the striker, who joined Swansea in the summer on a free transfer from Marseille.
However, despite the fact that he has only just arrived in South Wales, that will not dissuade the recently-appointed Klopp from making a third approach, according to The People.
The report adds that the Liverpool boss has been impressed by the 25-year-old's form this season, which has seen him score four goals in eight Premier League outings.
Ayew is currently contracted to the Liberty Stadium until June 2019.
