RB Leipzig have released a statement to reiterate that midfielder Naby Keita will not be joining Liverpool until the end of the current campaign.
The Reds are said to have been in talks with Leipzig this month to bring forward the Guinea international's switch, which was initially pencilled in for the summer.
Boss Ralph Hasenhuttl ruled out an early transfer this week, though, and amid ongoing talk in the British and German press, Leipzig have been forced to speak out.
"Naby Keita will remain an RB Leipzig player until 30th June 2018," a post on the club's Twitter account read. "We wish to put the speculation about a January move to Liverpool to bed."
Keita, on the scoresheet for the German club in Saturday's 3-1 win over Schalke 04, will set Liverpool back up to £67m to sign.
