Liverpool, Everton considering bid for West Brom forward Salomon Rondon?

Liverpool and Everton are reportedly considering whether to make an offer for West Bromwich Albion forward Salomon Rondon.

West Bromwich Albion forward Salomon Rondon has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for both Liverpool and Everton.

Rondon has endured a mixed spell during his time at The Hawthorns, scoring just 20 goals in 94 appearances in the Premier League.

However, according to The Sun, both Merseyside clubs are considering whether to launch a bid for the Venezuelan international before the end of the January window.

Rondon has just 18 months remaining on his contract, leaving the Baggies in a position where they either need to extend the player's deal or consider maximising a fee that they could receive for his signature.

Both Liverpool and Everton are well stocked for attackers, but they lack players with similar attributes to the 28-year-old, who is a constant threat in the air.

Rondon has netted just three goals in 22 top-flight outings during the current campaign.
