Brentford have completed the permanent signing of Fabio Carvalho from Liverpool.
Carvalho was a prominent figure in Liverpool's recent pre-season tour of the USA, scoring two goals in three appearances.
After playing over an hour against Real Betis, Carvalho went on to score in Liverpool's next two friendlies against Arsenal and Manchester United.
However, the attacker did not feature in either of Sunday's friendlies against Sevilla and Las Palmas, with Liverpool boss Arne Slot revealing that Carvalho had been the subject of a transfer offer.
It was reported that Liverpool had reached an agreement with Brentford to sell Carvalho for £27.5m with a 17.5% sell-on clause included in the deal.

Brentford complete Carvalho signing
Brentford have now confirmed the arrival of the 21-year-old, fending off interest from newly-promoted Southampton, who failed with a £15m bid earlier this month.
The attacker has agreed to put pen to paper on a five-year contract, with an option to extend by a further 12 months.
Brentford boss Thomas Frank told the club's official website: "Fabio is a player with a lot of qualities. He can play in all of the front three or four positions in a 4-3-3 or a 4-2-3-1. His best position is probably as a number 10 or coming in from the left.
"Offensively, he has great abilities on the ball: he can go past players, slide a pass, create chances and get on the end of chances. He's a type of player that we don't have many of in the squad so he will add that something extra for us."
Carvalho becomes Brentford's second of the summer transfer window following the addition of Brazilian striker Igor Thiago.

Carvalho bids farewell to Liverpool
Carvalho may have impressed in pre-season, but he was unable to make a significant impression during his two-year association with Liverpool.
He joined the Red in the summer of 2022 after registering 12 goals and eight assists in 44 appearances for Fulham, who will receive 20% of the profit earned from his move to Brentford.
The former Portugal Under-21 international had to settle for just eight starts in 21 competitive appearances during the 2022-23 campaign.
After struggling for regular game time in his first season at Anfield, Carvalho was allowed to spend the first half of last season on loan at RB Leipzig before he returned to England to join Hull City on loan for the second part of the campaign.
Having experienced a couple of loan spells, Carvalho has now committed his long-term future to Brentford, and he could make his debut when the Bees kick off their Premier League campaign in Sunday's home clash against Crystal Palace.
