Liverpool are reportedly willing to sell Raheem Sterling this summer if they fail to reach an agreement with the starlet regarding a new contract.
Negotiations between the two parties appear to have stalled and reports emerged on Monday claiming that Sterling would reject £180,000-a-week wages if offered to him.
According to The Independent, Sterling is open to listening to offers from elsewhere, and Liverpool have taken the stance that should an agreement not be reached by the end of the season, they would rather sell the England international this summer for a substantial fee than wait until 2016, when he will have just one year left on his current deal.
Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Manchester City have been linked with big-money moves for the 20-year-old, and if rumours are to be believed, Arsenal have entered the race to sign him.
Reports have claimed that Liverpool are unwilling to meet Sterling's demands of a wage packet on par with Daniel Sturridge's £150,000 a week.
