Juventus face Lyon in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie having regained their spot at the top of the Serie A standings.

Despite going unbeaten in their last two matches, Lyon head into the contest with the Italian giants sitting in seventh position in Ligue 1.

We say: Lyon 1-2 Juventus

Despite their standing in France's top flight, we expect Lyon to push Juventus all of their way on Wednesday night. However, the extra quality in the Italian's ranks may prove crucial and they should have enough to record victory.

Manchester City take on Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie.

Reigning Premier League champions City head into the match on the back of successive domestic wins, while Madrid have relinquished control at the top of La Liga in recent weeks.

We say: Real Madrid 1-0 Manchester City

Madrid have scored in each of their last 22 home games in the knockout stages of the Champions League. Even when out of form the Spanish giants seem to find a way in Europe, and we expect them to take a slender advantage with them to the Etihad Stadium for the return tie on March 17.
