Manchester City face being stripped of the 2014 Premier League title in the wake of their two-year European ban, according to a report.

Manchester City could reportedly be stripped of their 2014 Premier League title if the Court of Arbitration for Sport upholds their two-year ban from European football.

On Friday night, it was revealed that the Citizens had received a two-season ban from European competition having been found guilty of breaching UEFA's Financial Fair Play regulations.

Pep Guardiola's position as head coach has been called into question, while the likes of Raheem Sterling, Kevin De Bruyne and Sergio Aguero have been linked with possible exits.

According to the Daily Mail, City are also facing the possibility of being stripped of their 2013-14 title if a separate investigation from the Premier League shows further breaches.

The report claims that the English champions could face a retrospective points deduction from their seasons between 2012 and 2016, potentially impacting on their 2014 championship success.

Guardiola's team are next due on the field against West Ham United on February 19, while they will be in Champions League action against Real Madrid on February 26.
