Joe Hart: Manchester City will "never give up" in Premier League title race

Joe Hart warns Chelsea that Manchester City "will never give up" in the race for the Premier League title.

Joe Hart has warned Chelsea that Manchester City will not relinquish their Premier League title without a fight.

The reigning champions dropped back to fourth place on Saturday, but Manuel Pellegrini's side travel to Crystal Palace on Monday with a chance to restore the six-point deficit from the Blues.

By virtue of the gap, City will need to string together a run of victories similar to the six-game winning streak that helped them pip Manchester United to the title three years ago.

"We will never give up. It's kind of how we do it. We like to do it a different way," Hart is quoted as saying by The Mirror.

"We've not necessarily reached the standard week in, week out that we wanted to, but the beauty of football is that you get another chance – and that starts on Monday."

Chelsea will still have a game in hand after City's trip to Selhurst Park - a visit to bottom-of-the-table Leicester City.
