Bayern Munich are reportedly ready to make another bid for Manchester City winger Leroy Sane at the start of 2020.
After frequently being linked with the Germany international throughout the summer, a transfer was effectively out of the question once Sane had suffered a serious knee injury at the beginning of August.
However, while the 23-year-old is not expected to return until the closing months of the season, it appears that Bayern remain keen on securing his signature.
According to The Sun, the Bundesliga champions could make a formal approach during the January window as they continue their search for a long-term replacement for Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben.
The report suggests that City may still look to receive as much as £135m, despite Sane having less than two years left on his contract at the Etihad Stadium.
Sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has recently hinted that Sane's wage demands could prove to be a problem for Bayern.
