Manchester City are reportedly considering re-signing Aaron Mooy from Huddersfield Town in this summer's transfer window.
Mooy joined City from Melbourne City in 2016, but did not play a match for the Citizens before being loaned to Huddersfield for their 2016-17 Championship season.
The midfielder then moved to the John Smith's Stadium on a permanent deal last summer, and scored four times in 36 Premier League appearances during the 2017-18 campaign.
According to ESPN, City included a buy-back clause in the deal, and the Premier League champions are considering exercising the £20m option in order to bring Mooy back to the Etihad Stadium.
The 27-year-old played all three of Australia's group matches at the 2018 World Cup, but could not help the Socceroos make the knockout round of the competition.
