Manchester City are reportedly interested in signing Harry Maguire from Leicester City, but they have been warned that it will take a record-breaking offer to prise him away.
Citizens boss Pep Guardiola is said to be a big fan of the Englishman's ball-playing skills and confidence in possession - qualities that also earned him links with a switch to Manchester United last year.
A bid is being readied for the summer, but The Sun claims that Leicester are holding out for £90m, which will surpass the £75m Liverpool handed over to sign Virgil van Dijk from Southampton in January 2018.
Maguire, who has made just short of 100 appearances in the Premier League for Hull City and Leicester, has no buy-out clause in his contract and the Foxes have no reason to sell.
The report indicates that Brendan Rodgers's side will turn to Burnley's James Tarkowski as a replacement if they fail to hold on to Maguire.
