Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins has insisted that the club are looking for the best possible deal should Scott Sinclair move to Manchester City in the next week.
Sinclair has been linked with a move to Manchester all summer and Jenkins has pointed to the fees of other British players, as well as Robin van Persie, as he looks for the right deal for the club.
"When you look at Van Persie going for £25m and there are a couple of players going from Wolves for large sums of money," he told Sky Sports News.
"Scott is a very good young British player and we expect that if any bid is likely to go ahead we've got to get the value that is right."
The winger has scored 28 goals in 82 league appearances for the Swans.
