Ryan Giggs is delighted with Manchester United's decision to appoint the veteran as interim manager following David Moyes's sacking, according to former coach Eric Harrison.
The Red Devils opted to part company with Moyes less than 10 months after they appointed him as Sir Alex Ferguson's successor.
After 15 defeats in all competitions, the club chose Giggs to lead the team in their final four games of the campaign, along with Nicky Butt and Paul Scholes.
"I spoke to Ryan this morning and he is absolutely buzzing," Harrison told talkSPORT. "He is going to take Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt with him – the three musketeers.
"It will certainly be a different atmosphere in training and at Old Trafford and the fans will buy into it."
United, who cannot mathematically qualify for the Champions League this season, currently reside seventh in the league table.
