Mason Greenwood said that he is "very happy" to be at Getafe, with the forward addressing the La Liga outfit's fans at his unveiling on Tuesday.
The 21-year-old completed a loan move to the Spanish side on transfer deadline day, with Manchester United deciding last month to end his career at Old Trafford.
Getafe boss Jose Bordalas has opened up on the club's decision to sign Greenwood, which has been met by huge criticism.
In January 2022, Greenwood was arrested on suspicion of rape and assault following accusations from a woman, and he was then further arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and threats to kill.

The forward was also facing charges of attempted rape, engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm, but there is no longer a case against him, so he is free to rebuild his career, with Getafe taking the opportunity to sign him on loan from Man United.
Greenwood took part in an open training session with Getafe on Tuesday, and the forward was given a warm reception by those supporters in the stadium.
"I am very happy to be here. I have been training for four or five months, I am getting up to speed and have been training with my teammates and feel quite good," Greenwood told the club's fans.
"We take it one game at a time and the next home game is coming in a few weeks and we will try to win and do our best."

Greenwood's contract with Man United is not due to expire until the summer of 2025, with the Red Devils deciding against terminating his deal at Old Trafford.
A recent report claimed that the England international remains hopeful that he might be given the chance to rebuild his career with the Premier League giants if he impresses on loan.
Meanwhile, it is understood that there is a break clause in the loan deal which would allow Man United to bring Greenwood back in January if the move was not working out.
The forward has scored 35 goals and registered 12 assists in 129 appearances for the Red Devils, but he has not represented the club since January 2022.
