Jesse Lingard has expressed his desire to remain at Manchester United next season.
The 21-year-old is yet to feature for the Red Devils in the Premier League, but he impressed during loan spells in the Championship with Birmingham City and Brighton & Hove Albion last season.
This summer, he has been included in United's pre-season tour squad and when asked by the club's official website about his aspirations for the months ahead, the attacker admitted that he was keen to be a permanent fixture in Louis van Gaal's plans.
"My ambitions are just to do my best and break into the first team. I hope I can play some games in the cup competitions and in the league as well," he said. "There is a great spirit among everyone and we're all working together. You want to be a part of a team like this."
Lingard joined United as a trainee back in 2009.
