Scott McTominay reveals that the Manchester United dressing room is "disappointed" after only managing a 1-1 draw with Arsenal at Old Trafford on Monday.

Scott McTominay has spoken of a sense of "disappointment" in the Manchester United dressing room following the club's 1-1 draw with Arsenal in the Premier League at Old Trafford on Monday.

The midfielder claimed his first ever goal at the Theatre of Dreams on the cusp of half time, firing a pinpoint shot into the top left corner.

United could have doubled their advantage after the break, with many pointing towards a Sead Kolasinac handball in the box which was not given, before a combination of a miscued Axel Tuanzebe pass and VAR allowed for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to score an equaliser.

Reflecting on the result soon after full time, McTominay told MUTV: "It is definitely disappointment with the different opportunities we had in the game and the way that we started.

"In the first 45 minutes we were right on the front foot, we were aggressive and did a lot of things right.

"I thought we were good value for three points tonight. It was little mistakes that we need to start cutting out which are starting to cost us games or cost us points in this case."

The Red Devils, who currently sit in 10th, have now claimed just two wins from their last 12 Premier League games.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side travel to AZ Alkmaar this week ahead of resuming their stuttering Premier League campaign at Newcastle United on Sunday.
